QR (Quick Response) code is a method of transferring information through an image, so it can be scanned using a simple smartphone or camera and interpreted as verbal information.
Usually, this information is a web address, which allows quick access to a particular site.
However, this method requires certain limiting conditions such as sufficient lighting conditions on the image or camera orientation, limiting the number of people who can receive the information in parallel.
In order to solve this problem, we present a method for transmission of information over an acoustic channel based on Modulated Complex Lapped Modulation (MCLT).
In the previous projects, the infrastructure was prepared and the means for implementation were developed. The coding environment is in MatlabTM, while the decoder is an application on an Android device.
Main challenges of this project were keeping audio quality as original audio and synchronizing the transmitter and the receiver without any synchronization signal or clock .
