This work deals with Direction-of-Arrival (DOA) estimation in a multi-path environment. This problem is important in a variety of applications since many systems operate in such a way.
In part A of the project, we focused on classical methods for an ordered array, whereas in the second stage we focused on finding algorithms that fit arbitrary planar arrays. The requirements of the project are achieving high resolution and the ability to separate targets which are close to each other.
In order to achieve the project requirements, we used modern methods as well as classical methods combined with appropriate pre-processing.
In the second part of the project we were able to obtain the requirements for the array which we had.
